It is an ideal destination for a day or weekend’s escape from a stressful week in the city to the peace and quiet of the bushveld with it being only an hour’s drive from Pretoria.

Various antelope species such as giraffe, zebra, blouwildebeest, blesbuck and impala can be seen grazing on the savannah grasslands, while guests may, among others, also spot red hartebeest, kudu, njala, baboons, monkeys, warthog, meerkat. The variety of bird species and indigenous trees complete the feast for nature lovers.

The Conservancy is managed by its members – some of the property owners in the Conservancy - who contribute towards the maintenance of the roads, security gate and management of the fauna and flora via monthly membership fees. The Conservancy gate fees paid by visitors and guests to the Conservancy supplement the funds needed for maintenance.
